The Pratt Community College Foundation plays a pivotal role in fundraising for transformative capital projects that enhance campus facilities and student experiences. Here are some of the foundation’s recent projects:
Bill Keller Family Sports Complex: In partnership with donors and community stakeholders including the City of Pratt, the Foundation supports the development of the Bill Keller Family Sports Complex. This ambitious project created a multifunctional space equipped with state-of-the-art amenities for various sports and recreational activities. The City of Pratt Recreation Department and local school districts have utilized the complex for multiple events.
Stanion Field Renovation: The Foundation and PCC Athletics spearheaded efforts to modernize Stanion Field, the home of PCC Baseball. college athletics and community events. Fundraising efforts focus on adding artificial turf over the entire field, addition of composite outfield fencing and the construction of a much-needed storage building. This facility has not only served the college, but has also allowed local high schools to benefit from the additional field space.
PCC Rodeo Complex Renovation: Recognizing the importance of the rodeo program, the Foundation is working to revitalize facilities essential for training and competitions. This includes improvements to arenas, stables, and practice areas, ensuring a top-tier environment for student-athletes.
Through strategic fundraising campaigns, donor outreach, and community engagement, the Pratt Community College Foundation mobilizes resources to fund these capital projects. These initiatives not only enhance campus infrastructure but also reinforce the college’s commitment to providing exceptional educational and athletic opportunities for its students and the broader Pratt community.
