The Information Network Technology Program is ideal for students who are enthusiastic about computers and aspire to transform their passion into a career. Whether you have prior experience or are new to the field, this program is designed to build a solid foundation and develop the skills necessary to achieve CompTIA Certifications in Computer Technology A+, Network+, and Security+. The program features up-to-date labs that provide a hands-on learning experience, ensuring students are well-prepared for daily CompTIA Certification preparation. Additionally, students will gain expertise in PC repair, networking, system administration, cyber security and basic programming, making them versatile and ready for the rapidly growing technology industry.

Recommended equipment

Should students wish or need to work outside of classrooms in INT courses, the following computer requirements are necessary:

  • Windows 11: Home, Professional (required for virtual machine usage), Education, and Enterprise (LTSC and S are not supported)
  • 1.8 GHz or faster processor. Quad-core or better recommended
  • 8 GB of RAM
  • Hard disk space: Minimum of 512 GB of available space
  • Visual Studio 2019, ARM processors are not supported
  • Video card that supports a minimum display resolution of 720p (1280 by 720); Visual Studio will work best at a resolution of WXGA (1366 by 768) or higher
  • Oracle Virtual Box or Hyper-V is needed to run additional operating systems

Game Theory requirements;      

  • Windows 11 64-bit
  • Quad-core Intel or AMD, 2.5 GHz or faster       
  • 16 GB RAM    
  • DirectX 11 or DirectX 12 compatible graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or better)
