These include being designated one of two “Opportunity Colleges” in Kansas by the Carnegie Classification and American Council on Education; #3 in the nation by WalletHub for return on investment and on multiple occasions the prestigious Aspen Institute for community college excellence. In addition, PCC graduates have historically earned the highest average starting salaries in the state of Kansas. This includes the average salary for university graduates with a bachelor’s degree; all while costing only 1/3 of university tuition and spending 2-3 less years’ time.
